Welcome to Super Student! This application is expected to be a solution for young Indonesians wherever you are to go GLOBAL! The world is in your hands. So please read the Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy first, before using all Super Student platforms to avoid any doubt during use.

A. General Conditions

  1. The User Terms and Conditions is an agreement between the user ("User") and NIEC Indonesia as the Super Student Electronic System Provider ("Super Student"). These User Terms and Conditions also regulate the management of Super Student Users' Personal Data.
  2. Furthermore, in this agreement, NIEC Indonesia will be referred to as "Super Student" or "We" and Super Student Users will be referred to as "Users" or "You" and/or "Student".
  3. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of Use, the User acknowledges that the User has read, understood, and agreed to the entire contents of the User Terms and Conditions. Additional provisions on Super Student and all changes are integral parts of the Terms and Conditions of Use, hereinafter referred to as Additional Terms and Conditions of Use.
  4. If the User disagrees with one or part and/or all of the contents of the Super Student Terms and Conditions of Use, the User is allowed to not use, deactivate and/or delete the account or all Super Student platforms on the device of the User.

 

B. Definition

  1. The meanings of various terms mentioned in the following Terms and Conditions of Use are below, unless there is a mention of words or terms whose use expressly determines something else:
  2. The Party and All Parties shall not be limited to "You" and "Us" but shall also include other parties i.e. "Schools and/or Organizations" that You or We may represent.
  3. Privacy Policy has the meaning as described in Point E
  4.  Personal Data has the meaning as described in Point F
  5. The platform is a place to access Super Student via desktop or mobile. The Super Student platform includes a website that can be accessed via https://apps.thesuperstudent.com/ and an application that is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  6. Points are rewards given to Users when making transactions on the Super Student platform. Points can be exchanged for donations on the Donate menu page or users can exchange the points they have earned for available merchandise.
  7. Translate is the process of translating a document from Indonesian to English without changing the format of the document.
  8. Application Form is a registration file that is owned by the Student to register at the destination school.
  9. Submit is defined as uploading data to the Super Student platform.
  10. Visa Lodgment means the Student visa registration process.
  11. English Course is part of the English language learning service program provided by NIEC Indonesia.
  12. World Education Festival (WEF) is an educational exhibition from NIEC Indonesia which brings in representatives from overseas school partners to deliver presentations and direct consultations with the online and offline Students.
  13. Info Session webinar or seminar sessions that bring in representatives from one of the overseas school partners to make presentations and direct consultations with the online and offline Student.

 

C. Use of Super Student

  1. The use of Super Student is intended for personal use..
  2. The use of Super Student is intended to help the Users to access information not limited to lists of countries, study programs, education costs and scholarships from schools but also includes school consultations, promotions, courses (English Course) and events (WEF and Info Session) from NIEC Indonesia easily.
  3. User must guarantee that the information or data that are submitted to Super Student is correct and accurate.
  4. User agrees not to use Super Student for any unlawful purpose.
  5. User also agrees to comply with all laws and regulations relating to the use of Super Student.
  6. User Users understand and agree to the Super Student Privacy Policy.

 

D. Intellectual Property

  1. All types of content within the scope of Super Student, not limited to text, designs, logos, source code, user interface, brands and patents, are Super Student's intellectual property and are protected by copyright (Copyright Act No. 28 of 2014).
  2. User atau pihak lain dilarang keras untuk menyimpan, mereproduksi, mendistribusikan, melisensikan, menyewakan, memodifikasi, atau membuat karya turunan dari konten Super Student tanpa seizin Kami dan sah secara Undang-undang yang berlaku.
  3. Users or other parties are strictly prohibited from storing, reproducing, distributing, licensing, renting, modifying, or creating derivative works from Super Student content without our permission and according to applicable laws.

 

E. Privacy Policy

  1. Privacy Policy is a regulation relating to the rights and obligations of processing User privacy data by Super Student which has been regulated in accordance with applicable statutory provisions.
  2. Every Super Student User must comply with the applicable Privacy Policy. By using Super Student, Users provide consent to the collection, use and sharing of User information as described in the Privacy Policy.

 

F. Personal Data

  1. Data Pribadi is confidential data that Users have consciously submitted to the Super Student platform.
  2. All personal data, including application form data that Users have submitted will be managed, distributed, edited and used in accordance with the provisions regulated in the Privacy Policy.

 

G. User Content

  1. User generated content that the User has submitted to the Super Student platform, including feedback, reviews and suggestions, becomes the property of Super Student.
  2. User grants Super Student a non-exclusive, global, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute and display User content.

 

H. Limitation of Liabilitsy

  1. Super Student will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages that arise from use. Super Student is provided “as it is” and without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied when distributing, and displaying User content.
  2. Super Student will not be responsible for any type of loss, damage and use outside the relevant Party of the User's personal data due to the User's negligence.
  3. Super Student states that the platform or links contained in Super Student are not free from all computer viruses.

 

I. User Responsibilities

  1. All access related to personal data and use is the responsibility of the User.
  2. Damage or loss of data on the device due to external factors (viruses or spam) is the User's responsibility. We recommend Users to upgrade the security system on personal devices.
  3. User has the responsibility not to use Super Student for unlawful purposes.
  4. The data that the user has submitted on the Super Student platform is correct and valid.

 

J. Rights to Data Editing and Deletion in Super Student

  1. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of Use, the User agrees to grant the rights to edit and delete personal data that the User has submitted to the Super Student platform.
  2. Super Student has the right to review the files that User has submitted to verify User compliance with the Terms and Conditions of Use.
  3. The scope of data editing is not limited to personal data but also includes translating documents, application forms and visa accommodation.
  4. Super Student will provide information regarding editing and deleting User data if necessary.

 

K. Termination

  1. User has no obligation to continue using Super Student and User also has the right to terminate the use of Super Student without any time limitation.
  2. Super Student has the right to suspend or terminate the User's access to Super Student at any time if the User is alleged to have violated the contents of the Terms and Conditions of Use or applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Super Student will send notification regarding the suspension or termination of the User's account in writing via the platform or email that has been linked to the Super Student platform.

 

L. Applicable Law

Super Student Terms and Conditions of Use are subject to jurisdiction and are regulated in accordance with the applicable Laws and Regulations of the Republic of Indonesia.

 

M. Dispute Resolution

  1. Any dispute that arises due to the use of Super Student, it must be resolved initially using alternative methods in order to resolve the dispute outside the court (Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Act No. 30 of 1999).
  2. If the dispute lasts more than 90 days, it will be resolved through litigation.

 

N. Additional Terms

  1. We reserve the right to change or update the Super Student Terms and Conditions of Use without a time limit.
  2. The changes will be effective as soon as uploaded on the Super Student platform.
  3. Continued use of the Super Student platform will indicate that the User has accepted the changes to the updated Terms and Conditions of Use.
